Global Grief Network Member Guidelines & Agreement

These guidelines protect the grief community, clarify safety limits, and help members understand how to use GGN with respect, privacy, and care.

Community respect

  • Use GGN with compassion, patience, and respect for people carrying grief.
  • Do not harass, threaten, shame, exploit, bully, or target another member, practitioner, guest, or team member.
  • No hate speech, discrimination, scams, sexual harassment, abusive language, or harmful conduct.

Privacy and confidentiality

  • Do not share screenshots, private messages, chatroom conversations, personal stories, member information, or practitioner/member communications outside the app without consent.
  • Respect that people may share sensitive grief, trauma, family, faith, medical, or identity-related experiences.
  • Use first names or display names when possible and avoid exposing another member’s private information.

Jake AI bridge and safety limits

  • Jake is an AI bridge and guide that helps members find the next app step, but Jake is not a therapist, doctor, emergency responder, crisis counselor, or replacement for human care.
  • GGN is not an emergency service, medical provider, crisis service, legal advisor, or financial advisor.
  • If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, call emergency services or a crisis hotline right away.

Practitioner connections and paid services

  • Practitioners are independent and may set their own fees, payment links, schedules, livestream access, cancellation rules, refunds, and service boundaries.
  • GGN membership access is separate from practitioner sessions, paid livestreams, retreats, events, workshops, or direct services unless clearly stated otherwise.
  • Members should review practitioner information carefully and choose support that fits their needs.

Reporting and moderation

  • Report harmful behavior, unsafe content, threats, scams, harassment, hate speech, exploitation, or misuse of the app.
  • GGN may remove content or restrict access when behavior harms community safety or violates guidelines.
  • Members should not use the app to solicit, manipulate, diagnose, pressure, or exploit vulnerable people.

Agreement reminder

By submitting the member application, members agree to follow these guidelines.

Members also agree to the membership terms, privacy expectations, safety disclaimer, AI/Jake disclaimer, and practitioner payment/session boundaries shown on the application.
